Dental Specialists Directory

It can be confusing to be a dental patient in the 21st Century. That is because we live in a division of labor society. To state it another way, we live in the continuing age of specialization. Capitalism creates specialties by creating the wealth necessary to improve service to the patient.

That is a fantastic process. When a man can specialize it broadens the market for the patient. There is less bad competition and more cooperative competition because dentists focus on different areas. They do NOT all try to do the same thing; the result is the patient can choose the level of care wanted.

The problem is it is hard for a patient to ascertain what specialist they should see and where will he have to go to see the specialist. If you go on the web to find a specialist there will not be an organized alphabetical list of all the specialties. It will be chaotic.

The purpose of this blog is to present to the patients a complete list of the different specialties in dentistry along with sub specialties and include locations and web site and email. You can edit the list as you see fit. Make notes on the specialist care and the staff and the financial expectations along with convenience and location.

This Directory was created for both the patient and the dentist in order to systematically find the kind of dental specialty you want.  I would still suggest seeking recommendations from a trusted friend or coworker or loved one to compare against other doctors.

The Directory will be up in  a few days
